@shuttersparks @randahl I'd drop high-testosterone nonsense because it is obvious trolling but the core idea is not new. It is not about being objective personally per se - it is more about the opposite.
When it comes to collective decision making you don't want overly agreeable people debating them, you want people who are not afraid to be wrong. And most of them will be wrong and some can be very very wrong but this is how you get varied opinions in the first place and then hopefully productive debate can refine the best. These people are harder to manipulate and offer broader spectrum - and yes, they tend to be rather aggressive and/or weird in their ways of thinking.
This is the reason you usually can't find too many nice people on corporate boards.

Hindus have an avatar for it. Shiva is THE alpha male. He went to the forest for "1000 years" to meditate, not caring about the wife at home, who birthed their child in the meantime, or other peoples opinions. But the actions were not selfish. The goal was to free himself from his own temptations.
And he is inseparable from his female part Shakti. Shiva Shakti is one.

Musk took too much LSD and other psychedelics without proper guidance. His "gurus" were selfish and dishonest, not even looking at their own temptations. He lost contact to the "reality".
He is in the same state like members of a sect. Abused to gain profit from. But willfully sending the own energy to the ones exploiting. Always thinking to be on the right path to enlightenment.
And always trying to pull in more people.
