Now that I am mostly done with the home insulation work I can direct my energy again towards finally doing it!
I keep vacillating between two 44' open-wire fed doublets for 40-10m: one broadside to Europe, the other broadside to all U.S. west of me, for Max Gain, or just putting up the longest open-wire fed doublet I can fit between the two tallest trees in my yard which should give me 80m. I'm probably obsessing too much over radiation patterns.

@Geojoek @Stormgren @KC8JC I know someone who was licensed a year before me who, when I got licensed, was obsessing about the correct antenna to get for HF. He still hasn't put up an HF antenna (this is 11 years later, mind you).
