So you want to open a restaurant, you say...

Saturday night, we had a walk-in couple (no reservation) with an 8 month-old. It was late, but okay. Seated them in the dining room, not far from the fire.

A little while after they were sat, a departing customer came back in to inform us there was a vehicle parked outside with all the doors wide open containing an expensive child seat. (Theft is a concern around here.) Made an announcement and the walk-in party said, "Oh, that's us. I'll take care of it."

All proceeds okay. The wait staff notices that the couple is letting the infant throw food on the carpet but didn't realize the extent of the problem. The couple is the last to leave, settles their bill, "Have a nice night!," and off they go.

Wait staff turns up the lights to clean the dining room and discovers what you see in the photo: pasta and salmon all over the place where the high-chair was located.

The whole restaurant staff stood there, speechless. Wut?
