It looks like my lash-up antenna works well for FT8 reception. #hamradio
@dtl Yes, this is the fun part of antennas. RF and EM waves don't care if it's a lashup or not. They don't care if you spent $15,000 erecting a bunch of Rohn 35 tower sections or the equivalent in $5 worth of 18 gauge wire. They will perform the same.

@shuttersparks the only new stuff in this is about £3 of rope for one end. The coax is 25 years old, the balun is 12, the wire is recycled from a skip.
