The reactions within Trump’s circle to his CNN town hall were universally joyous. “We want to thank CNN for their generous donation to President Trump’s campaign!” one Trump adviser told @RollingStone

Some history on how the PARC backup archives managed to be preserved for so long, across so many systems.

Just migrated here to be on a Canadian server. Saskatoon resident who would appreciate your boosts as I restart!

I don’t know why everyone suddenly has amnesia about the fact that #CNN was bought by a conservative asshole & is just hoping you won’t notice long enough to radicalize you based on the network’s former reputation, inertia, & brand loyalty.

Nothing like #Twitter, of course.

Westchester DA to vacate 26 convictions following whistleblower’s secret recordings.

I missed this story and maybe you did, too. Thank you, Joe Biden!

So happy and proud that the Justice Department is suing Tennessee for harassing trans kids and denying them health care.

The fascist take over of our state houses must stop. States do not have the right to act in an unconstitutional way.

Probably worth emphasizing, over and over and over again, that the final vote in Kevin McCarthy's one-vote margin for his bill to hold the full faith and credit of the United States hostage was provided by indicted fraud George Santos.

Meanwhile, elsewhere on social media: we wanted people to know the backstory on that Woburn, MA police officer who was suspended, let go, and then decertified by the state's Peace Officer Standards & Training (POST) Commission.

Facebook blocked this story for being "against community standards."

We think you should be able to see the facts for yourself.

@StillIRise1963 He certainly is, a natural born one. He's done this his whole life. He lies all the time, even when it's not "necessary".

Every lie is another chance to be found out. Expert liars don't tell any more lies than are necessary.

Had Anita Hill been a White woman, Clarence Thomas never would’ve made it to the SCOTUS.

Had Obama been a White man, the Affordable Care Act would’ve been a fait accompli instead of the years-long, knock-down, drag-out affair that racist GOP sociopaths — excuse the redundancy — made of the bill’s path to approval.

Had Trump been a Black man, given his history as a career criminal, he’d have been impeached, removed from office, arrested, tried, and imprisoned years ago.

@newsbot Unfortunately, it was a state case and the governor is already gearing up to pardon him.

@StillIRise1963 I see one difference. I believe Santos is mentally ill and fully believes his lies and fabrications. Most Republican leaders, however, are willfully evil, know the facts, and know that their lies are false.

"(W)hat we are witnessing is the wealthiest companies in history (Microsoft, Apple, Google, Meta, Amazon …) unilaterally seizing the sum total of human knowledge that exists in digital, scrapable form and walling it off inside proprietary products, many of which will take direct aim at the humans whose lifetime of labor trained the machines without giving permission or consent."

@StillIRise1963 Indeed. It's well past the point where a Republican can claim they're different and don't support the corruption, fascism, and racism.

Like it or not, you *are* known by the company you keep.

@Npars01 @uanews The Republican Party has always been a minority party. That's why they have to cheat. That's why they've been working for decades to take over the state legislatures in rural states where voters are easier to bamboozle. This enables them to set rules and gerrymander to lock themselves in. It might also enable them to call a Constitutional Convention if they gain enough state houses. That's why the Republicans worked hard to load the Supreme Court.

They can't win on nationwide popular vote so they use every trick at their disposal.
