@perkinsy When I lived in Central America I learned how to shower without plumbing and using very little water. It works fine. It would not work well in cold climates without heating the water first.

Judaism has laws about everything, and war is no exception.
For example, Jewish law explicitly, strictly prohibits cutting down your enemy's fruit trees during a war. Heck, Jewish law prohibits destroying fruit-bearing trees _at all_. Think about this the next time you hear about "religious" Jewish settlers in the West Bank destroying Palestinian olive groves.

Each time the GOP threatens shutdowns over the debt, that's what they are doing, thwarting investigations.

My wife and I lived in Wyoming a long time ago. One day I stopped in at a major hardware store, saw a handgun I liked, and bought it. The counterman placed all the federal registration paperwork on the counter which I carefully filled out in full. When I was finished he picked it all up, looked it over, turned, and dropped it all in the wastebasket. He said, "We don't believe in that shit around here." And that was that.
