it's great work on the part of Emily Maitlis, but the old tried-and-true hometown Christian dodge-and-degrade with crocodile compassion will make Kari look like the "winner" in the eyes of the faithful, and that's all they do TV for. She answered nothing at all while feeding the red meat of bloody rhetoric to dopes who think living is all about a fat 'win' column.

We exist in two very different perceptions of reality with these people, just with the same miserable results in the end.

Sometimes all it takes to massively improve indoor air quality is making sure the HVAC system is turned on!

Last November our General Plan Advisory Committee met in a very large room. Attendance was light. But CO2 hit 1743ppm and kept climbing till we left. Tonight we were in a smaller room, with similar attendance. CO2 maxed out at 857ppm! Fresh air is in the 400s.

Lower CO2 means sharper thinking and less sharing of nasty bugs like COVID and flu.

-Paid sick leave
-Paid family & medical leave
-Universal childcare
-Universal pre-K
-Tax increases on corporations & the rich
-The expanded Child Tax Credit
-Student debt relief

Doesn't sound like the party of the working class to me.

Corps are beginning to line up in anticipation of the far Right being in charge.

The signs are small here and there. Getting rid of data collection; getting rid of initiatives or subject specific project teams; pushing an overt USA First position.

But these signs will grow bigger and more overt. The internal realignments around personnel, hiring, 'fit'.

There was a tiktok of a French girl reading a letter sent from a small French town's reinvigorated Vichy-era militia to a Black woman living in that town telling her to sell her house and get out of town in order to cleanse the town and return it to its previous, more glorious 'French-ness.'

Poor girl was in tears as she read it. She was stunned.

There was another Nigerian creator who posted a warning to the US: the small signs we're seeing will only grow bigger. The future we dread is not in the future but now. DO SOMETHING.

Here's the deal. #Biden is completely off topic. 1 nut takes a shot, and Biden says 300 million need to calm down. I don;t need to calm down. I need #Trump to be arrested. I need the #SCOTUS to be impeached. I need #laws to be enforced. I need to eliminate military grade #weapons from shelfs. I need the #constitution to be restored. I need the #legal community to fight back. I need #religious zealotry to be recognized as a mental health issue. I don't need Biden to tell me to calm down.

It makes sense that we get fatter as we get older because a higher gravity makes time move at a slower pace. And as you get older, a year goes by in a blink. We’re technically on our way to becoming event horizons.

I'm sorry that Donald Trump had to experience for a brief moment what schoolchildren have to face regularly in America.

The ability to go a week without facing existential dread because a vocal minority of the world population would rather see anyone who doesn't think exactly like them dead rather than just accept that folks can be different and that's okay.

There will be concentration camps for immigrants, military forces deployed in cities to stamp out protests, and destruction of civil rights on a magnitude that has never before been seen in the history of this country. Make sure your relatives and friends and associates understand what is at stake, because they have one and only one chance to put aside their individual issues scrabbles and to save their liberties, and that's THIS election. Lose that to Trump/Vance, and all the other issues will be crushed to dust under fascist boots.

I wonder if so-called "judge" A. Cannon in Florida, who is handling the TFG classified materials case, realizes that just as the Constitution does not mention special prosecutors it also does not mention female judges or courthouses in Florida.

Perhaps she ought to declare herself 'unconstitutional".
