Such a great talk by Brandon Harper! "Hello Sonador AI: A Python library for streamlining the development of medical AI solutions"
Proud to have this amazing new generation of scientists embracing #LibreSoftware and #OpenScience and at #GHCon2022 #Orthanc ❤️

What an inspiring talk at #GHCon2022 by Dr. Alvaro Cerezuela /Dr. Gil (Cirugía Solidaria), about #GNUHealth and @opensuse in the context of #surgery campaigns in Senegal.
370 surgeries, +1200 evaluations in a 10-day campaign. Amazing. ❤️ #SocialMedicine

#GNUHealth @gnuhealth relies on #weblate for the localization.
Benjamin Alan is talking about this amazing platform at #GHCon2022 #libresoftware #i18n

@gnuhealth conference has been filled with tons of cool tech talks. @opensuse #ALP #TensorFlow #containers #podman #docker #Flatpak #kubernetes #Orthanc & tons more. The #slicer talk about imaging & visualization is fascinating. #opensource #medtech github.com/Slicer/

The joint GNU Health / Orthanc conference started three hours ago, and already so many fruitful, insightful interactions!

Thanks so much to all of you who demonstrate, by your work and by your commitment, that source code can have a fundamental social impact.

This is exciting! I have been warned about the fact that Orthanc will be featured as part of the "Imaging AI in Practice" demo at by the end of this month! A great news for the free and open-source software community I lead :-) rsna.org/education/ai-resource

Nice testimonial that highlights the relationship between the Orthanc project and GaelO, the clinical trial imaging management platform that will notably be discussed at the joint event and ! gaelo.fr/en/blog/ecosystem-ort

Tomorrow is the on-line kick-off meeting of the #Belgian #Reproducibility Network.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to join (I'll be giving a talk at that same time), but have joined their mailing list!

In a trend we can expect to see more of, @estebanmoro reports that MIT has set up its own Mastodon server at mastodon.mit.edu... who's next? 😉

Many medical imaging tests results are still delivered in a CDROM 🙃. I have to dedicate an external DVD reader so I can access my patients studies 🙈 . May I remind that is 2022 😅 #DICOM

Next step: Have our universities setup their own Mastodon instances for their researchers. Mastodon is free software but someone will have to pay the bill for the servers.

Stone Web viewer 2.4 has just been released! This unique, open-source Web viewer of medical images is entirely written in C++ thanks to the technology. This new version brings a huge number of improvements. Check out the online demo: orthanc-server.com/static.php?
