@chs42 but.. shouldn't it be pointed east and not north? If that's a sunset, that bad boy is pointed at Canada right?

@chs42 oh yeah, I had it backwards, sunrise in the east, so it is pointed North. But when I flew to Beijing from New York, I went over the north pole crossing Russia and the Arctic sea. I would think an attack from Russian mainland would follow a similar trajectory. Which means it's actually pointed in the right direction. Although the most likely point of origin I would speculate would be a submarine in the deep Atlantic. Hey look I'm sorry for trying to figure this out, I'm stupid. It's an awesome photo regardless of it's direction.
