Any decision maker not subject to democratic control will eventually act against the common good and in favor of their own advantage.

All decision makers need to be subject to strong, direct and universal democratic control. Otherwise they'll not act in the interest of the commons consistently.

We need more democratic society, economy and state.

@csddumi historically this requires an independent and politically active middle class with some leisure

@skells or it requires democracy and democratic tools to be more easily accessible and the execution of a trustworthy, equal, free, secret and common election should be eased as much as possible.

And smaller groups or individuals should make the actual decisions, while larger, more inclusive groups should be able to overrule or to discharge them of their duties.
