that's an interesting point; there hasn't been a chip shortage if you've known how to look beyond shenzhen and taiwan for your fabbing, or if you're able to mix-and-match brands for your purpose. NVidia has a chip shortage, AMD and Intel might have chip shortages, DJI and Skydio might have chip shortages, but other than that hard hiccup in 2020 the world has kept on fabbing and is getting better at it (thanks, Balkan states that aren't embroiled in some conflict!)
