That "fall" could just be a recalibration.

European culture was born from the struggle of our various states against one another and the church as the Empire fell.

The US is in a unique historical position of both being able to forsee that change and having the political framework to adapt to it.

The Fed can print itself out of existence, BTC can pick up the pieces and DC will have to play real nice to keep the Union together.
