I also wrote some about the motivations, but if you have seen my posts at any point in the last few years or especially the last three months, it's probably not news to you: https://blog.freespeechextremist.com/blog/revolver-motivation.html
I have been very excited about actually writing the code and had to kind of force myself to sit down and write that stuff, but I said "I'll have the announcement this weekend" then I said I'd have it yesterday morning and I figured I'd pushed back actually announcing it for long enough. (I can code while shitposting casually but I can't write stuff like this while posting at all.)
There will be a public repo with prototype code shortly, I think this week, but Hofstadter's Law says that it takes longer than you expect, even if you take Hofstadter's Law into account.
