"The MOSFET was invented by Mohamed M. Atalla and Dawon Kahng at Bell Labs in 1959, and first presented in 1960. It is the basic building block of modern electronics, and the most frequently manufactured device in history, with an estimated total of 13 sextillion (1.3×1022) MOSFETs manufactured between 1960 and 2018."
@11112011 we just lean on the zuck, he a bit flimsy
@NBS value for value ;)
@NBS awesome, I've read Reminiscences a few times now and always enjoyed it - I'll check these out and see what gels.
btw https://libgen.lc/ is a great resource for most books
thanks for the recommendations, enjoy the rest of your weekend
@NBS did you get a chance?
@Prodigal "lotta regret" giant grin, laughing his arse off
@Prodigal genuinely rate this guys vibe
@cjd @adam @Johncdvorak Reuters reported the second article and I put a lot more weight behind them than Newsweek.
The fact that American outlets like the NYT and WaPo didn't give it any play is revealing; if Putin calculated to drive a wedge between Europe and the US with this invasion then those first cracks are starting to show
@cjd @adam @Johncdvorak unnamed sources are a common practise, it's a fair point though.
not much of a story unless it is Pentagon sources, nothing being said is particularly groundbreaking
@aral you must despise americans
