for anyone not in the uk, let me paint a picture: I’m at the station right now looking at my phone, some guy comes up to me to ask me if the queen is still alive

I had a philosophy exam
the paper they gave me had 3 questions.
2 of them were about kant.
I have no Idea who kant was.
I was told after he was the dude who said ignorance reduces responsibility.
I did not know this.
I went at it with autism.
I went on a bunch of academically interesting semi-relevant tangents.
previously, these had been a thing I struggled with, an impediment, but now they were my salvation.
and it fucking worked.
I bridged the 10 minuted monolougue time.
then they asked me about, hobbes, and plato, and I gave them the right answers.
and I passed.
I'm still not sure they realized I didn't have a clue who this kant person was.

even during tough times, life can be good if you let it

@11112011 seems more like capitalism and ~free trade is having more to do with it than top-down bullshit from the comission

@11112011 no doubt, doesn't look like a good one from where I'm standing

@11112011 this doesn't make sense as the Russians have caused a complete U-turn in EU energy policy

@11112011 waiting for the Russians to force our hand is not a plan

@11112011 someone has a plan that appears to be heavily influenced by green dogma
