I wonder if there is any mod that makes the resources renewable, maybe using Create, where you can wash sand to get some ore with very low chance, etc. I think I saw something similar in one of the ilmango series.
Tried growable ore, it's simply too OP.
@skyblond@qoto.org Ex Nihilo was a mod that can create you something out of nothing, often used in skyblocks. Wonder if that still exists.
@trinsec It's only support NeoForge since 1.20. Wondering what is that, sounds like a fork of forge.
@trinsec Miss the good old times where I can install two mod loaders and everything works fine.
@trinsec Wait, look what I found: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/sinytra-connector
Sinytra Connector is a compatibility layer that allows running Fabric mods on MinecraftForge.
@skyblond@qoto.org Neat, hope to see more mods like that. Cross-compatibility is nice.
@skyblond@qoto.org Looks like there was drama involved.

So Minecraft 1.20.1 is probably the last Forge modded version. 1.20.2+ might be NeoForge instead. Going to be interesting to see how ATM9 is going to handle that when it wants to add new mods to the modpack. But so far in the beginning stage, NeoForge and Forge should be largely compatible since it's an early fork.
@skyblond@qoto.org I'm idly wondering if you can just place the 1.20.1 NeoForge in a 1.20.1 Forge loader. You could try it out? I'm curious. :)
@trinsec I think it's ok, the incompatible starts from 1.20.2
Apparently I'm too old for the new stuff. There is a thing called data pack, where you can just write json and add new recipes to the game, that works for mods too.
