For some reason, the IDEA frozen my NUC.
I guess the memory is the main issue. With only 2GB of swap and 16GB of RAM, I opened 42 chrome tabs and 2 IDEA, and one is trying to load a spring boot project.
I was planning to upgrade to 2x32. But this month I have already spent too much. For now I'll just order one and stay with 32+8.
The most frightening thing about a frozen Linux is the filesystem. I'll literally go crazy f after a reboot the grub said no boot partition available. And by default openSUSE doesn't have sysrq enabled for sync...
Now I set up the sysrq for REISUB, so I should be safe? I did a btrfs scrub on the root partition and it said everything is ok. I guess I'm fine now? Seems like LVM and LUKS don't need sync.
