Tried ipxe. Thanks to my friend, I managed to configured a pxe setup using synology nas and ubiquiti router.

Tried to boot opensuse installer, but the network is not working properly. But at least I got the installer showing up on the screen

This is what I thought when the us government said they were standing with Israel peoples. The original content is posted on a Chinese social platform, and here it's translated by Google shown in the picture.

Apparently, I don't know what happened in the past between those two countries. And I don't have a plan to know that. That might be an unpopular option or might hurt someone (sorry for my Israel and Palestina friends, I don't mean to), but I think we should think more about the people lives here.

I never knew the history of that location. I never heard the name of hamas. But clearly, this is not a game of guessing who you should support. There is a trend for Chinese that they want to label themselves. During the invasion of Ukraine, people label themselves that they support Ukraine or Russia. The same things applied this time, too. I saw people support Israel and hamas (I don't know if he can represent Palestina, but that's what I see on the Chinese LAN). Today, I was trying to figure out the same question: Who should I support? Which force should I support? But on a second thought, I realized how ridiculous that question is.

I'm always anti-war. It's not me to decide if a war is necessary or good or bad, I don't care, it's not my problem. I concern the normal people. I might lose all hope towards adults, but I hold all hope towards children. That's why I keep donating to UNICEF monthly, even now I'm being unemployed.

People, including me, like seeking good, right, perfect things. But please do notice what we ignored during that process. There might be arguments on whether the war is correct or not. That's a totally fine topic, but don't ignore the individual lives when you keep talking big things, or even small things.

This time, I will not support any country, but the people injured during the attack, especially children. The leaders of both forces bombarded civils while hiding in their safe castles, that's not right. And the people deserve help, no matter the nation.

Also, I noticed some platforms are tightening the rules about those topics. It might help eliminate false information, but how do you know it's false? I don't think that's the right thing to do. If you really want a platform to filter the info you can get, then welcome to China.

Here is a chance to meet me in the flesh

This is my MRI image. It shows my bones, tissues, etc. Get it? "Flesh" 😂

While I can't walk after the crash, I purchased a radio, a rtl sdr and a loop antenna for my friend. To let me have something to do, also to introduce ham radio to my friend.

Now I can expect my friend get his first ham license in 3 months :ablobbounce:

And i bought an almost new typewriter for about 40 USD. I think it's a great deal. The typewriter is working perfectly.

I avoid buying electronic devices since I can't know if it's still working... but they're so cool (in terms of logging human history)

night market

I mainly forced on old devices, but there are a lot of goods, as long as you know how to distinguish them.

A simple chat bot server written in Kotlin, powered by llama.cpp.

Actually, I noticed that my compute resources are so limited that I don't even need to worry about multi-thread safety. It just too slow to run into a race condition, LOL.

OMG can't believe it's working!!!

It's doing the inference on JVM (although still call the native C code in llama.cpp)

I use ksp for code generation, so you don't have to write those ugly hacks for kotlin.

You write something like p1 and got something like p2 and p3 automatically.

llamacpp on JVM, powered by JNA.

For now it's only quantize, but surely it will develop into something more completed and interesting, like a multi-user chat server?

Maybe I should move this project out of playground folder and publish to github.

Another alert that I never expected to see.

Flood in Beijing? That's wild.

I have never experienced this before (in Beijing). Several alerts in a row, lightning, heavy rain, and flood.

Might be my first time experiencing a typhoon?
