I'm a Chinese shitizen, but I generally don't post in Chinese to avoid being suffering from other Chinese.
I'm physically a male, but I don't care how people think about my gender. I can be male, or female, or cat. But if you ask, I'd prefer to be referred to as male. Also, I support LGBT+ people, and I'm a copyleft. I don't think I'm too aggressive in arguing things, but sometimes I do. You should handle it with care.
I post about programming (most time is Java and Kotlin, unless I have a new love), and some random things I find interesting. I also post about my mental health, which is in a stable state of instability, thanks to my parents and Chinese society.

People say nikkor 180-600mm is not the sharpest, but this one has already impressed me enough. Can't imagine how sharp the nikkor 800mm f6.3 S line lens will be. (Well, that's a really expensive lens, probably not gonna buy it in my entire life, unless I have the opportunity to earn like half a million per month)
Oh god I love the protocol design of Meshtastic. I can control the device using Java via serial port (on Linux only).
Now I can receive and send messages.
Bought a sennheiser MKE600 microphone, for its price, I'm planning:
1. record video with it so I can capture the birds singing.
2. use it on my work machine so I can join meetings on my nuc.
For the second purpose, I need a P48 power supply. I searched aliexpress, but all of them require AC18V input, while P48 output DC48V. Not sure why.
Looks like 48GB RAM is not enough for 60+ chrome tabs, 18 docker services, and 6 electron based applications.

Maybe z50II is not as good as z8 or z9, but then lens is definitely a good one! It's sharp even with a bunch of noise from this 8 years old cmos.

After careful examination, I assume that the lower part of the grip was hit when it fell, and then the camera fell to the ground. At that time, the DX 16-50 lens was installed, which is short and light, and the mount should not be deformed. The only damaged part should be the frame around the battery compartment.
After the drop, the cover of the battery compartment can not close properly due to the frame deforming. And if you force it to close, not only it will be stuck, but there will also be bulges. So I took the pliers and put a paper towel on it to knock the deformed part back. Now the battery compartment cover is very flat when closed. I would say that's a big success!
Although the camera is a precision instrument, after all, the Nikon z502 does not have CMOS vibration reduction. I would be fairly confident to say that there are no moving parts inside the body, so I directly hammered the frame while not disassembling the whole machine. I have a wood chip pad underneath, which should absorb the most hit and shouldn't cause any further problems. I mean, economically speaking, it's Nikon Z502, not a Z8 or Z9. Sending it back to the factory for a full examination is not worth it.

I hereby declare, Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf is the best anime of 2024, and might be the best anime of the recent decade.
After being betrayed by kyoto anime (Sound! Euphonium 3rd season), I was constantly being afraid of the new animes: they look appealing, but the storylines are bad or not performing well. I can't imagine I cannot even trust kyoto anime in recent years, that's how bad the anime circles being recently.
But for the Spice and Wolf, I'm super excited about the 2024 version. I start reading the novels after watching the 2008 version, and now when I'm watching the new version, I can recall the details from the novel, and the novel is represented in anime, a much more vivid and lovely form.
Oh my god I'm so excited by the 2024 version. Now I have to patiently wait for the bt download to finish.
