Long comment about #RWBY
Introduced rwby to my friend.
It's... complicated. The latest seasons are... kind of shit. There are a lot of scenes that the characters can do something effectively, but they just don't. Also the characters themselves are broken. They don't even align with the first several seasons. For example, Qrow, look how fancy he was when he was first introduced. But in the latest seasons? Killed his coworker? With the help from the bad guy? And still be a good guy? What?
I sincerely hope Monty Oum didn't die. But sometimes I have to take it whatever it is. In this case, the first 2 or 3 seasons really get me, and I really like this show. But every time I see what it is now, I feel sad.
I probably said similar words before. I clearly remembered a scene that I was talking about this show with a strong feeling of sadness and unwillingness.
I also sincerely hope the rooster teeth can do something truly right to at least fix the show. But the hope is hopeless. While I still want to know what happened to the characters, I think only the suffering remains.
I sometimes heard people talking about DC or Marvel as a business ruined some series. Now, I fully understand that. I built an emotional connection with the characters, wondering the upcoming adventure that we as an audience will go through together with the characters, but then someone else hijacked the characters and totally ruined it, that is what we called tragedy in China (or Steven may call it failure).
This might be my biggest pity in my life.

I noticed the Bard is much better than ChatGPT.
I sent my MRI report to both ChatGPT and Bard. ChatGPT need a text input so I copied the text. Then it keep repeat what the report said and keep asking me to chat with a real doctor.
Bard in the other hand, can automatically detect the photo of the report and capture the points. It explained some image description and conclusion to me, also made some suggestions.
No matter it's correct or not, I know it's not offcial comment from doctors so I know not to 100% follow it. But at least Google's bard gives me something I want.
Also a fun fact. I sent some of my MRI images to bard and it immediately removed the image. Looks like Google is actively trying to avoid giving professional medial advises.
Building on #I2P's application layer is not only a form of activism, it is building resilience within our decentralized communities. I2P protocols offer interoperability and therefore more resistance and dynamic connections. https://todon.eu/@ma1/111181685523006685
@trinsec The other knee said he is fine.
@trinsec I use random string as username (under some situations)
Waiting my body to fix itself, and noticed tailscale got a new price model.
I remember the old one is annually billed for individuals but the new one is subscription based for everyone. But, they have first 3 users free for all plans! Which means I as an individual can enjoy the premium plan for free! That's super amazing!
Now I highly recommend everyone to give a try for tailscale, a VPN solution based on wireguard and with more services, out of the box.
**I have a job now!**
I'm a Chinese shitizen, but I generally don't post in Chinese to avoid being suffering from other Chinese.
I'm physically a male, but I don't care how people think about my gender. I can be male, or female, or cat. But if you ask, I'd prefer to be referred to as male. Also, I support LGBT+ people, and I'm a copyleft. I don't think I'm too aggressive in arguing things, but sometimes I do. You should handle it with care.
I post about programming (most time is Java and Kotlin, unless I have a new love), and some random things I find interesting. I also post about my mental health, which is in a stable state of instability, thanks to my parents and Chinese society.
Anyway, if you want to follow me, I'm glad to see you. And, have a nice day.
