Figured out a decent way to prepare for a late or early schedule. Just gradually shift your sleeping schedule and give your body time to adopt.

I found it to be pretty reliable when I needed to wake up early in 6am for my last job, and for a pretty important meeting at midnight. I shifted my bedtime from 11pm to 2am in two weeks, and it's pretty well. Keep the total sleep hours unchanged and sleep later and later.

Just one last thing: don't hammer your body with extra caffeine. I'm successfully being not sleepy at midnight, but now I'm struggling to sleep

I don't know why, but everytime I talk about tape, the audio cassette always appears in my mind. It reminds me of the Commodore Datasette, which I guess is pretty slow.
