I'm a Chinese shitizen, but I generally don't post in Chinese to avoid being suffering from other Chinese.
I'm physically a male, but I don't care how people think about my gender. I can be male, or female, or cat. But if you ask, I'd prefer to be referred to as male. Also, I support LGBT+ people, and I'm a copyleft. I don't think I'm too aggressive in arguing things, but sometimes I do. You should handle it with care.
I post about programming (most time is Java and Kotlin, unless I have a new love), and some random things I find interesting. I also post about my mental health, which is in a stable state of instability, thanks to my parents and Chinese society.

really? Now? We Chinese people realized this issue at least ten years ago. Due to the gfw, openvpn is already an obsolete technology 
Almost half of the year has passed, but I'm still not used to typing 2024...
Also I'm thinking to keep those exhausted sticks and shining up flashlight to them. Would they glow again?

上班路上看到路上有个被压烂的西瓜，这个城市多了一个没瓜吃的伤心的人。
Start testing glow sticks. Today's two are identical in terms of light: 558nm ± 2nm. The 1 hour one is super bright but decayed super fast. It barely glows at 1 hour. But at the beginning, it measured 668 lx, reported by my phone, when placing the stick on the screen.
The 10 hours one is not that bright, but still good for reading. It feels much easier to see compared to the blue glow stick: the blue one is bright, but it makes my eyes exhausted. The yellow one is much better. Since human eyes are much more sensitive to green light, I would expect the green one to be the best. But I'm also curious about the white one.
And with the last two images, you can tell the lacking of blue makes the color very off. You can hardly see blue. I mean, that's expected, and I know this. But seeing with my own eyes is just amazing.

Really want to share this YouTube video before I go to sleep. Vocaloid is quite old, considering we have machine learning models to generate really real voices and even songs. But this video really amazed me not because the voice, in contrast, the vocal is indistinguishable to me. But the idea behind the video surprised me. it's still glowing after 5 hours. I remembered once upon a time I got several glow sticks. I was excited just like today, but soon, my interest moved to other things (what do you expect when I was a kid? Focus on something for hours? No one paid me to do that), and when I suddenly realized, the glow sticks died and no longer glowed.
I think that might be the first time in my life that I felt the emotions of experiencing the end of something. This week I bought glow sticks purely because I suddenly remember my cousin's kid was playing with that several weeks ago. So by pure curiosity, I was thinking maybe a powerful glow sticks can be used as emergency light? After all, the power outage is pretty common in my area.
Never thought a glow stick would bring out that much of emotions : )
