**I have a job now!**
I'm a Chinese shitizen, but I generally don't post in Chinese to avoid being suffering from other Chinese.
I'm physically a male, but I don't care how people think about my gender. I can be male, or female, or cat. But if you ask, I'd prefer to be referred to as male. Also, I support LGBT+ people, and I'm a copyleft. I don't think I'm too aggressive in arguing things, but sometimes I do. You should handle it with care.
I post about programming (most time is Java and Kotlin, unless I have a new love), and some random things I find interesting. I also post about my mental health, which is in a stable state of instability, thanks to my parents and Chinese society.

@kydest 英国疫情期lock down间给我触动很大的一点是这句口号：
Stay home, protect NHS, save lives.
英国也封城，但封城的理由不单单是保护自己，而是保证【可以保护所有人的NHS】不崩溃，因为只有这样，才能拯救更多的人。
我一直觉得这是一句有公信力也很有说服力的口号，但同时前提是需要有公民素质的人民才能理解。适当放弃自我的利益，去维护更多人的利益才是更好的做法，才能让整个社会，无论老弱病强都可以得到救助。
疫情期间政府的各种政策一直受到民众的抗议，反对，批评，但这才是正常的社会运作的方式，遇到问题，不断调整改进，错了就改，对就执行。尊重科学和人性。

英国是怎么逐步放开的：
1.英国的“必要设施”，医院、超市、加油站，一天都没有关闭过。
超市曾下架“非必要用品”，只售生活必需品，以免人们在内逗留。但是关门？超市不会关门。封小区？英国人不住小区，家家户户门朝大街开着，你封也封不住。国内“封小区”的行为让我反思：选择入住小区，好像确实意味着你让渡一部分自由，把自己的决定权交给了小区的围墙、防盗门和物业，躲进一个安全的假象。
2.中小学第一批开放，教职工成为“关键工作者”。
小孩长期封锁在家会引发心理问题、造成社交、认知等障碍，因此中小学早早放开，保障一代人健康成长，免得以后出现一代从小缺管教的疯批。
3.封控期间政府为人民的损失买单。
中小企业减免税，给个体户补偿。小商户只要遵守规定封控期间不开业，就可以去政府那里按天领英镑。英国封控期间，多项税款免缴，连房产交易税都免税。这样做的好处是什么？第一人民不会绝望，人人得到救济；第二，解封之后经济迅速回升，逐步恢复真正的正常。
4.保护弱势群体。
两件让我印象深刻的小事：一是BBC电视台以封控期间妇女遭受家暴的现象做了一起新闻，并以此要求尽快解除封控，并为受害妇女提供庇护。二是封控期间，房东不得驱逐房客，即使房客无法按时交付房租。我所住的郡，水电费可延迟两个月缴交，即使过期欠费也不会被停水停电。Covid期间经济衰退，房客交不上房租是很有可能发生的事情，房东经济上有损失，但不至于损害生命安全，房客如果被驱逐流落街头，他们有可能会死，这就是人道悲剧。
我说这些，不是想赞美英国政府做得多么好，它只是做到了在一个文明国家执政的基本：讲科学，科学不为政治让道（你现在让政治抢科学的道，明天科学就反手给你一大逼兜）；讲人性，救济工作细致从未躺平。它不是滴水不漏，它也有很多漏洞，它可能是个漏勺，但它至少不是个废物。

Two days into my holidays and I just realized how tired I am.
I just want to sleep.
My app use jnr-fuse, so even if groovy can be somehow optimized by GraalVM/s native image, the jnr part would be failed anyway.
So, now I'm curious about how much faster can I get by only switching the JVM to GraalVM.
When I test with Minecraft, Azul's Zing gives the best optimization, but it only runs on Linux.
So, maybe GraalVM can give a similar result AND running on Windows?

Update: it wasn't a misunderstanding, it was deliberate. Still not stating any names because I'm too tired and anxiety ridden to argue with anybody rn. Fediblock is stupid.
About the charset.
I used to force JVM using UTF-8 by adding "-Dfile.encoding=UTF-8".
Just a moment ago, I disabled it and somehow it works. Looks like Powershell can print UTF-8 in GB2312 env, but it's the Java's File returns what the filesystem gives it, in this case it might be GB2312. Forcing JVM running in UTF-8 will make it think that is a UTF-8 string, instead of translate from GB2312.
And, in Windows, even your terminal is UTF-8, you still got GB2312 filenames from the fs.
And, somehow, the fs can take UTF-8 filenames and handle it correctly. Then why not use UTF-8 by default? Why?
How could firefox screwed this up?
Firefox 108.0.1, come with openSUSE by default. Open jetbrains.org, try find the IDEA page to download it, then firefox crashes.
How to recreate: Just open https://www.jetbrains.com/idea/ , it crashes.
Of course, kotlin might be the best option for cli scripting. Like, instead of `entry.ctime.isBefore(now.minusDays(3))`, I can defind something like `ZonedDateTime.isBeforeNDays(days: Long)`.
But 1) kotlin scripting is still experimenting, 2) groovy scripting only need 1 jar to work.
The only remaining thing is to test if it works with GraalVM's native image. (I would guess it won't work. Groovy seems like generating those JVM bytecode on the fly, and the native image doesn't have JVM at all.)
