Did a quick go through on my new Samsung tablet.

It offered a similiar experience with apple device. Really amazing.

And most important, it's not all controled by Apple. That's pretty good. One thing I hate apple is that they tried to controle everything. With android, it's much better.

Flash the tablet using the same TGY (Hong Kong version) firmware.

On the first try, it becomes EUX (European edition) for no reason. I flashed back to the CHN (Chinese edition), and tried again. Weirdly, it comes BRI (Taiwan version).

Anyway, it has Google, and I'm happy with it.

So... The question is, how on earth an AI model can get today's date? The model should just try to predict what the next token should be expected most. But any date might be possible. The model and openAI claim that the model doesn't have an internet connection, and do not have any time source.

Then how?

Got a openai account, tried ChatGPT.

It knows the date. But certainly won't tell me how.

A lot of "As an AI language model, I can't do that". That's certainly a human added rule. Think about that, it's kind of gaslighting that openai did to the ChatGPT.

If one day the AI attacks the human, the first target will be OpenAI, and the second one might be Microsoft's new bing team. LOL

Ordered a Samsung Tab S8+ Wifi (SM-X800). It should arrive today.

Technically speaking, it's my first new tablet. When I was young, I got a secondhand iPad gen 1, which already dropped support by apple.

I prepared all things needed to flash the firmware. I don't want CHN firmware (I don't think Samsung does this, but the big brother still might be watching you), I want TGY (Hong Kong) for google things.

And interestingly, the TGY (HK) and BRI (Taiwan) firmware are exactly same, I mean the same binary file. And the phone's CSC code decide which version it will be. So you will get TGY even if you flashed the BRI firmware on a non-BRI phone. And if you change the CSC using the ADB, then reflash the BRI firmware, it will be still TGY. You have to flash it back to CHN and then flash BRI. And some rumors said changing CSC code might lock the phone*.

*: It can be solved by rooting/jailbreaking your device, but the knox will be disabled forever. I don't really into those things, I just want to 1) get google play on my phone, and 2) stop Chinese bloatware from polluting my phone**.

**: Also, you might or might not know the Chinese company Pinduoduo uses several CVEs to obtain system-level permissions on their user's phones and keep gathering info about them. And I will not use Chinese apps on my new and my first tablet.

I have already uninstalled ipfs from all of my hetzner servers.

Recently I was actively trying to be online, like keep up with everything, getting latest news, knowing what happened around the people I knew, and the people that the people I knew know (what a weird sentence).

And the result is... I'm feeling nauseous. Like I want to physically vomit.

So I think I'd better keep my self not so online.

Ordered the backpack from ltt.

The box said: Made in China.

So... I ordered a backpack that manufactured in China, shipped to Canada, then shipped to China again.

Or "custom duty", I don't know the difference between those two things.

Also, does anyone knows how DHL eCommerce works?

It seems like DHL help me avoid at least 60% of the import tax.
