The last volume is published in 2016 and the author said in 2022 that the new volume is already in writing.

Great. I hope I can see the ending before I die.

Read books, step 1: put them around me and hopefully one day in the future I'll start read them.

Weirdly, my system froze again.

The good news is that, this time is not caused by hard drive. However, the bad news is I don't know who caused it.

The dmesg said there is nothing wrong with the system and I can check the message after reboot. The only clue is that I switched from the browser back to IDEA, and everything froze and the gnome stops responding. Mouse doesn't move, no response from keyboard, and I tried REISUB and looks like some of the sysrq are disabled.

I ordered some fishnet with 0.5mm and 0.7mm diameter hole. When reviewing the recordings, I found out that magpies are taking the walnut away, possibly hiding somewhere. I don't want this to happen, since the magpies are acting faster than crows. So almost everytime, the magpies take those nuts and hide them, leaving nothing for crows.

From 65GB of footage that my program said there are birds in them, I found this:

The dove chased away the magpie.

This is also the reason why I feel so disappointment when Intel sold their NUC series to ASUS.

ASUS also made NUC-ish mini PCs and they are not bad. However, this brand didn't manage a good reputation. Not to mention their Chinese branch once beat (physically) the customers several years ago.

While Ace Pro gives better image quality, considering I'm renting a GPU to process those clips, which means I have to upload those clips over the internet, it's probably not a good idea...

I'd still use my old phone to record bird footages

I don't know what comment to give on this movie, but there is one thing I mind very much: from what I thought, the HAL9000 should have some sort of emotion, and it looks like the movie is trying to emphasize that. I generally don't kill people when someone made a mistake. Then why those two human crews suddenly decide to shutdown the computer? I mean, just literally before they came up with that idea, the HAL9000 clearly talked about this issue, and the human crews failed to find the loophole in the sentence: while the software and the design can make no mistake, but it doesn't mean the human who makes this computer won't make mistake. That physical mistake is very likely to cause HAL9000 to malfunction. And to me, it shouldn't make a lot of mess to let HAL9000 know itself.

I don't know how they shot this back when 1968. But I did get a similar visual effect several weeks ago when I thought the image buffer uses RGB while it actually is using BGR.

And I just took a deeper look into the postman.i2p, and... Wow... What can I say?

I didn't get the 77GB version since currently my storage is almost full. But I think the 4GB version is already good enough.
