I sincerely don't understand why people will include emoji in their writing.

This will be a new reason for me to not like python.

Wait, what?

Ministry of the Interior of France, telling me the BreachForums is reopening?

Must be some email trick. Can't verify on my phone but maybe France government doesn't enforce their dkim settings. Or they really get hacked?

Compared my recordings with the soggfy‘ogg. Other than the silence is a bit off (I still didn't figure out a perfect way to decide when the new song starts), the rest of the content is more or less identical (in terms of hearing)

Got something for the Spotify recorder.

Instead of connecting java to dbus, which has 1 or 2 seconds of latency, playerctl provides a perfect way for recording when Spotify switched to the next track.

Now I'm recording a play list with w64 (wav but support more than 4GB), then try to slice them into individual wav files. Still having trouble on deciding the start of each track, since dbus is not really real time, I saw 300 to 500ms latency (from Spotify switch track to the script record timestamp).

I think we should have a law to enforce every song to have a 100ms silence at the end. Otherwise it's a headache for me to decide how to cut the spotify recordings. LOL

Spotify finally got the lossless option.

Now it's a good timing to figure out how to permanently secure my music collection.

Trying to find a HD portrait for Father Godwin, but no luck. So I tried Gemini 3 pro. God that works so great.

Remind me years ago when I first tried waifu2x.

P1: the screenshot from the game (~600KB)
P2: the result from gemini 3 pro (7.2MB)

Looks like the highest vote answer on StackOverflow is not always correct.

I set `access_log off;` to disable the nginx logging, according to this post: serverfault.com/questions/3185

Guess what I got? A 13GB file just called "off".

No wonder the instruction explicitly said (and bold) take pills at every 12 hours, and keep taking pills for 5 days even if the symptoms are gone.

Ok, this is my bad.

Another lesson learnt: take pills at the correct time, no delay.

Today I took oseltamivir late for 5 hours, and now my temperature is back to 37+

Not good :(

For some reason, my temperature fluctuated between 37 and 38 tonight. Within an hour it jumped from 37.1 to 38c, and then back to 37.4C. It feels a bit strange. Maybe it's that ibuprofen and the hypothalamus (if I recall correctly, it is the part that responsible for regulating body temperature) are fighting for control of my body temperature?

Talking about taste, I did try to eat some potato chips around lunch time. Usually I like eating them, but today the grease makes me feel disgusting. Maybe that's something worth investigating, so we can use that to help people (me) lose weight?

oh no, I can't taste.

I spent the whole day in bed, switching between sleep, awake and feeling tired but can't sleep. So didn't eat anything until now. I ordered burger king, but suddenly noticed my taste is no longer working. Covid tried 4 times but didn't take down my taste, flu did it at first time. Good job.

Also, for another comparison, my friend (the one who gave me the flu) had fever for more than 24 hours. And only after he went to the hospital and take oseltamivir, his fever is under control. Also based on my previous flu and covid experience, usually it takes days for my immune system to get virus under control.

I start taking oseltamivir as soon as I feel the fever, and my temperature go back to normal in less than 24 hours. So, yeah, this is amazing.
