#DamarHamlin of the #BuffaloBills may have just died on live tv. They were doing doing cpr on the field for 10 mins before the ambulance took him away. The made a tackle, got up and then collapsed. They suspended the game. There is no news of his condition either way, though I have to believe if there were any positive news it would have been made known immediately. I hope he regains consciousness.

I just found out about this. Reminds me of the Danish soccer player Christen Eriksen that collapsed during the Euro 2020 international soccer tournament 18 months ago. He had CPR and was defibbed for 10 minutes.
Also I learned about Chuck Hughes, a lions player that died on the field from a heart attack in 1971.

We hope at the beginning of every season, that maybe this will be our year. What, I think we have learned to do through the many years, is to tamp down our expectations. When I stop hoping, that’s when I’ll turn my #DolphinsDiehardFan card in.
