Well, this is bizarre. An argument that evangelical Christian is less and less about that Christ guy.

"from 2016 to 2020, [evangelical’s] share of the White adult population increased to 29 percent, from 25 percent” (only strain of Christianity that’s increasing)

"In 2008, only 16 percent of evangelicals said they never or seldom attended church. By 2020, 27 percent did.”

OK. But now it gets weird: (1/3)

@marick I keep refreshing this post because I'm so intrigued, but don't see parts 2-3. 😅

@tylerayoung Did the pointer from @spoltier help? They were just ordinary replies to my own post.

@marick @spoltier For some reason I don't see the replies here on Fosstodon, only when I view your post on mstdn.social... 🤔

@tylerayoung @spoltier Hmm. Perhaps it’s because I tend to make the replies “Quiet Public”. I thought that just meant they wouldn’t appear as a long string in people’s timeline – I hate imposing such on people – but maybe it means something different. Care to try an experiment?

@marick @tylerayoung sure. I also think that may be related.
