They are reporting that very rough skies are anticipated for the first hour of our journey today, and I'm here for it! ✈️🎢

I realize not everyone enjoys turbulence. I've always been weird like that, however. Even when I was a little kid. 💺

My mom tells a story of us flying up the east coast through all kinds of crazy storms (through what we later learned was moderate turbulence that even approached severe a couple of times) and once we finally cleared it and found a patch of smooth air, the passengers seated all around our row heard my little 5-year-old voice pipe up, asking "if she could ask the pilot to make it go bumpy again." 🫨

Allegedly a disheveled woman seated in front of us turned around with the most quizzical look on her face, astonished that I was enjoying myself. 😂
