Nice, SuperSonic just passed 200 stars and 1000 commits.

Yes please! So embarrassing.

A federal lawsuit seeks to halt the upcoming #UFC #MMA fight on the #WhiteHouse South Lawn for #Trump’s 80th birthday & purportedly part of the celebration of the nation’s 250th anniversary.

The filing Saturday by the Public Integrity Project on behalf of 2 Virginia residents contends the #Trump admin’s authorization of the June 14 event was unlawful.

Lol. Some Dems out there trying to Harris the Platner race. Y’all don’t learn, do you?

You know why Republicans win? Because they don’t fight our battles for us. Platner is probably a complete fuckstick. Who cares? He’s a fuckstick that will help get the nazis out. Primary him in a few years if he turns out to be an asshole. Losing the race entirely by seeking some untainted candidate is fucking absurd.

Finance Analysis: Market Insider | 'The Big Short' investor Steve Eisman says he's not a fan of SpaceX's IPO due to concerns about its AI business

"Despite the incredible sums of money that are being spent, what's being produced in terms of LLMs and agentic AI... is not really differentiable... It's very commoditized. People are switching constantly from one to the other. There are no moats... what's being created, it seems to me, is a commodity."

"You have hit upon the exact seam where formalized literature ends and pure abstract algebra begins."
-- Gemini, making no sense whatsoever

Angry Astronaut (cont)

"But when the media and companies call multiple engine failures on a brand new engine, a booster crash hundreds of kilometers off course and an uncontrolled ocean impact a success just because the IPO prospectus needs good vibes... that's not rapid iteration. That's... flagship commercial programs hitting major systemic snags at the worst possible moment... Good luck getting NASA or anyone else to bet the farm on that anytime soon."

It is sad how many “Biden has done nothing people” only learn about his policies when paired with “Trump has rolled back a Biden era policy that…”

@FIAR_Light @TagYourToe @DavidM_yeg

Feel like it is important to point out that the billionaire media will find a way to exploit weaknesses and apply leverage against any Democratic threat, and they will repeat it ad nauseum until it becomes the most awful thing in the world. This is how they disqualify their opponents while ushering in some of the worst monsters ever. And we take the bait every time.

@mastodonmigration

("He has got things in his past which are bad.") That's a Reputinikkklan & MSM sound bit, talkingpoint, narrative. Reject the Republican Fascistic framing. Apparently he was a bad date, Oh My.

Susan Collins has got bad things in her past, when she voted 10,000 times to FUBAR America. I'm more concerned with all the women affected by the loss of Reproductive Healthcare, unable to afford daycare, & a Fascistic stacking of the SCROTUS.

ALL GOP's got, lies, shitetalk, & smear.

On Platner. He has got things in his past which are bad. He is currently the subject of an all out political smear campaign. Both these things are true, and unless we can nominate another candidate that can beat Susan Collins, it does not matter.

We are in an existential war for the future of this country, and Senate numbers matter more than anything else. We have seen what happens, particularly to the Supreme Court when the GOP controls the Senate.

It's crucial to elect a Democrat in Maine.

@colo_lee

This is the argument that feels good, but loses elections.

And when we lose elections things get much worse.

Unless we win back the Senate, and for that we need Maine, we will likely lose democracy.

That is what is at stake.

This is exactly what Hitler did. This is also part of Project 2025.
They sat stone-faced and silent as the president called for them to use US cities as training grounds and to fight “the enemy within,” and the secretary of defense told them to ignore “stupid rules of engagement “ and “woke garbage.”
Then they were threatened with dismissal if they didn't obey.

On this 82nd anniversary of D-Day, remember: The way we wonder why Germans didn’t stop Hitler is exactly how the rest of the world views Americans and Trump today.

So, by now if you follow the SpaceX IPO you will have heard that yesterday S&P Global decided not to change 'financial viability' rules and 'fast track' SpaceX into the S&P 500 index.

The intriguing question is why? Why did S&P pull back from what most analysts assumed was a done deal?

Is it because of potential legal exposure?

"The funniest possible outcome of the AI mandate era is about to be HR departments discovering that 'sincerely held religious belief' under Title VII has a much lower bar than they assumed, and Pope Leo handed every Catholic employee a written excuse" businessinsider.com/worker-got

@GossiTheDog They aren't just screwing the investors who invest in the IPO. Every passive investor who invests in an index fund that tracks an index that these companies will become parts of is going to get screwed. It doesn't even require that these companies collapse.

The valuation is huge, which means that they will be a large part of the index, which means that the tracking funds will have to automatically sell stock in other companies that are members of the index, in order to reflect the new balance. This selling will pull down the stocks of these other companies, screwing just about everybody.
