gajim is crashing for me a lot lately. like after opening a few pics in a row or trying to upload a pic or accidentally right clicking in the conversation list(?!)
@brad I've definitely had better luck with dino than gajim. Gajim looks more lightweight and mature but IME it's not.
@swiley I was using Dino for ages before and I very strongly feel that Gajim is better.
I had this thread about it a little while ago.
A couple small things off the top of my head: the chats don't re-order once opened, you can copy a message someone said along with their name and the timestamp (dino only makes the message selectable), you can customize how messages appear and make them look more like IRC (my preference), you can copy and open the aesgcm links of omemo-encryted pics to refer to specific ones in a convo (Dino can't copy them or open them when someone else pastes them), Dino crashed for me multiple times a day (although Gajim is starting to crash more lately also)
