This is pretty scary IMO.
Fortunately they're not all in one room at the same time, but like, what if nobody wants to learn how to write linkers for a few decades?

@wolf480pl Judging by how rust is going we won't get any new linker writers ever. We'll just keep stacking abstractions on top of each other.

@swiley Zig is writing its own linker. Golang has already written 2. So it's not terrible.
