Tonight there's a meeting of volunteer firefighters in a nearby village. This means we have to take utmost care not to have a fire tonight.

This also means we can leave dirty dishes in the sink. There's an unwritten rule here that when firefighters come to save your life they first look in your sink and if there are any dirty dishes in it they have the right to refuse to put out the fire.
