You're mentioning freedom, while urging instances to take away the freedom of association from their users. I thought the #Fediverse was supposed to be an open and free network? Why urge for intolerance then?
@stevenroose Gab is legitimately using an open source platform, @isolategab is legitimately helping people who legitimately will keep Gab away from them, you can legitimately stay on an instance that continues to interact with Gab or legitimately create your own instance.
''Open free network'' means that everyone is free to decide whether to interact -or not- with someone else.
There is no mandatory interaction with intolerant content.
