The AI tech bros are panicking. Greed and lies can only get you so far.

"The energy, water, and capital demands of generative AI are astonishing, requiring perhaps trillions of dollars of spending this decade alone. Revenue hasn’t kept up, so one way for these companies to maintain the flow of investment dollars is to double down on the hype."

@gerrymcgovern "The AI tech bros are panicking. Greed and lies can only get you so far."

When exactly did the human race renounce deception and lies? What geography? What time period in history?

"Tech bros" used to have another name, "The Clergy", religion. Followers flock to fiction stories. Non-fiction is not very popular.

@RoundSparrow
Ate you talking about the humans in Europe? Or are saying humans the world over in various civilizations were conniving thieves?
@gerrymcgovern

@RoundSparrow is there a region you are confident only had conniving theiving civilizations earlier? I want to know the scope of your scepticism.

@tetrislife I don't believe in supernatural. I think cults of any fiction media can form. "The Clergy" of #WealthTelevangelism on fiction Fox News HDTV media has been better-selling than authentic news.

There is no supernatural clergy. There are media venues and content. OpenAI is the clergy of ChatGPT. Microsoft also is a split clergy for some of the same technology. Two different venues, some common content, etc. Apple is the Clergy for the iPhone App Store.
