US politics, actually thinking about that chat

Obviously funny haha that the people running the US are such fucking idiots. Like, it’s super-absurd that they did all this.

But they’re also dangerous idiots

The problem is not just that they’re idiots, but that they’re callous in their insidious evilness

They revealed that the US knows so much about their targets that in this case they knew he was visiting his girlfriend’s house, and then blew up the entire building on top of him

The USA will blow out an entire apartment complex of innocent civilians just to get after ONE person

The Houthis are no saints, but neither is the “international” Yemeni government that controls nothing and nobody. The USA should not be just bombing wherever the fuck they want because they have hurt feelings.

The media should be criticising the USA for extrajudicial murder of civilians en masse, a nation entirely headed by serial killers, but instead the discussion is that they had a conversation in the wrong special room.

It’s not about WHAT they did. It’s about the fact they didn’t follow some rules somewhere.

What they did in that chat was to demonstrate what we all know: that the US is happy to wipe out your entire neighbourhood to kill one guy, and then everyone pats each other on the back as if they were the ones who did it themselves while celebrating it as some moral victory annointed by the Lord Himself.

@yassie_j good point about the callousness, Hiroshima-Nagasaki wasn't done by idiots.
