@ploum I quite like your minimalist philosophy on chats.
I like email in terms of how it makes us write more detailed messages compared to chats, but the only thing that really turns me off of it is the lack of privacy. Obviously there are services like Proton and Tuta but it is difficult or inconvenient to get users of other services to encrypt their emails too. For that reason I tend to stay away from email unless using it is necessary.
