Do white vegans realize you can care about both non human and human animals?

Like I’ve been dipping my toes into animal activism, I’ve always loved animals but never gave much thought to their rights besides like “yeah the meat industry is bad” until recently, and I find animal rights to be quite eye opening. But I don’t associate myself with Animal Activists because, at least the white ones, will defend a cow’s right to vote while calling indigenous people slurs for hunting in the same breath.

Also there’s animal activists who just straight up deny facts about animals in the name of animal rights and???? Dogs are carnivores you can’t feed them a vegan diet? Domestic sheep need to be sheared or they’ll get matting and be in pain? Cats shouldn’t be allowed outside or they’ll kill native bird populations? These are facts!!!!! You can’t claim to care about animals and deny facts about them

@Sasukecoochieha Are you actually sure about the first one? Afaik dogs are omnivores, and I was under the impression that they can live nicely on a well-balanced vegan diet.
