.hg Is using letters from earlier in the alphabet to indicate “better” things (e.g. A is best) a global thing? Are there languages|cultures that don't to that? And if so, is there a corresponding drop-in replacement?
@moonbolt There is even one "culture" you are familiar with that doesn't -- is the alpha version better than the beta version? ;>
