There is nothing wrong with discussing security guarantees for Russia (h/t President Macron). Provided these are actual guarantees, which Russia can only get by becoming a 'normal' European state. Yes, I know that we are very far from that point...

But I can also appreciate the objection (and here I am reading people very generously) that just speaking of almost utopic futures is not that useful.

What concrete conclusions on immediate goals do you draw from the dream of a democratic Russia?
