A viral argument justifying the WGA & SAG strikes was that people working on hit streaming shows weren’t getting rich off of residuals like they would on linesr TV.
The reality post-strike is that money has to come from somewhere. It will come from rausing prices and reducing the amount of shows churned out by streamers which means fewer jobs in the industry.
Feed the winners and starve the losers has come to streaming.
