Just finished reading the epic of Fatima Dhat Al-Himma.
There is an episode where warrior woman Fatima and her team of heroes get trapped in a cave system. They eventually discover an ancient tomb. When they run out of food, they decide to break down the burial bed to build a ladder.
Inside the bed structure they find a tablet that helps them summon an army of djinn.
If this is not a #DnD dungeon I don't know what is.

I assume you mean the casual link goes Fatima -> DnD?
Certainly possible depending on how you decide how diluted a story can be before it stops counting as influential.
Maybe a fun PhD cross-domaim project? Not done any literature work myself so I'm not very confident in the implied estimate of the amount of work needed.
@tobychev I already did a PhD on role-playing games :D I meant that the story would be fun to turn into a D&D adventure.
