So… when we talk about X-ray vision, such as for superman, the dude’s eyes must be emitting X-rays, not passively detecting, as your average joe isn’t going to shining bright at wavelengths around 1nm. So, superman is a more dangerous version of X-Man Cyclops? Because that’s some high energy beams.

And yes, I might be currently writing an article on the JAXA XRISM X-ray observatory. This is obviously a HIGHLY relevant detour.

I think he's actually extremely sensitive to neutrinos and just calls it x-rays because he didn't want to bother explaining neutrinos back in 1940's when he was born.
