To start things off: The negotiations are taking place in the same room in the Council building in Brussels as the last fateful, PTSD-inducing trilogue session on the AI Act itself back in 2023. To quote George Lucas: "It's like poetry... they rhyme."
The sides are already discussing the main meat of the evening - Council's proposal to move the machinery regulation from Annex I A to Annex I B.
