To be quite honest, I'm not trying that hard to get a #job. I'm not a shoe-in, so it's somewhat easy, but I could probably have a job right now if I tried harder.
A big reason why I don't is because I'm scared of #failure. I don't remember a lot of what I learned.
@togs I think most employers create jobs with a fair assumption that there is gonna be a lot of on job learning before an employee gets into the flow.
No body can retain everything they have learned.
I have realized that I missed out a lot on life by believing that I shouldn’t act because I didn’t know enough. I held myself back and this has bitten me the arse quite bad.
As I get older I realise that you should act first and gain expertise as you go along.
(this is true only when it comes to careers or backpacking trip, not economics or warfare)
