Why are British people so attached to pronouncing the name "Anthony" like there's no "h"?

@cford It's feels a real 50:50...

I have known a few folks called Anthony that say their own name like it was Antony. Who am I to not go with that?

@tomheyes I agree pronouncing peoples' names correctly is a good strategy. If only more Brits would follow it.
