Recently I saw a comic strip for which I wish I had saved a link. A soul is welcomed to Heaven by an angel who says, “You have your own home here, where you can spend eternity with whomever you choose.” “So, Heaven is is what I make of it, eh? What is Hell like?” “The same.”
Longshot: does this ring a bell, despite my compression and misquotation?
Earlier today a few wasps milled about where the next was. Will they rebuild it? Stay tuned!

Some days my ankles make me pay for years of exceeding their design load. This morning my **right** ankle was sore, so I got out my cane. Then, as I dodged some furniture, my cane got in the way of my **left** foot, mildly – or so I thought – twisting the ankle. The right ankle soon recovered to a tolerable degree, but the left has been worse all day!

For years I have washed my hair with a Kroger-branded knockoff of Head & Shoulders.
Yesterday in another supermarket, finding no dandruff shampoo other than H&S, I bought the real thing for once.
Today I used it … and now I'm going to wash my hair again to get rid of the scent, which persistently stings my eyes.
