So, there was a series by George S Chappell in the 1920s, which he wrote under the pseudonym Walter Traprock. These were really very stupid parodies of the travelogue genre but sold moderately well at the time. They are seldom read now, but I enjoy them.

ANYWAY, apparently during the 70s and 80s someone made a comic strip about them and it got put online in 2005: traprock.net/index.html

I love this continuity over time. Chappell was already 40 years dead THEN.
