So while Java is relegated to middleware and back end APIs development, with Java + WASM for a more interactive and faster web apps, the embedded systems and real time applications so far is still ruled by the C language.
Will be installing FreeRTOS on my Oracle virtualbox soon to get a familiarity about it. Will also get back on studying C but this time it will be embedded C.
Downloaded Apache Netbeans for ease of GUI building for an app soon.
Also checked on the latest techs in web development and realized WASM exist.
In line with this, I realized I can just develop Java using Swing or JavaFX for the GUI and run it using a WASM runtime for Java applications called CheerpJ and the typical desktop Java applications runs faster like it's a native app but inside the browser ![]()
Looks like WASM will be the future of web applications ![]()
Been pondering about my plans.
The delays on the trainings, the radical changes happening in the US and its effect in support of Europe, the rapid changing landscape of warfare in the Invasion of Ukraine by Russia, the rapid changes in the technology due to the war and the rise of Quantum Computing and AI, is making me think that staying in the course of the plan is leaving me behind in terms of growth both in the warfare and STEM departments. Furthermore, there is so much uncertainty about the plan while staying on track for STEM everything is stable and guaranteed feasible.
I guess I have to drop it and get back to my original plan on pursuing the STEM but this also means future warfare involvement will be more on technology instead of physical.
I stay on the plan to go to war and it don't work, I lose both the long term plans for warfare and STEM.
I stay on the plan to pursue STEM, it's guaranteed I get the STEM path at least, and this gives me a more stable tech growth for pursuing high tech weapons development.
Now for the Arabs, it is evident the hypocrisy.
For the Muslims, we lost the land of Palestine after the Arabs betrayed the Ottoman Empire. The bloodshed in that area is a consequence of that betrayal.
The Arabs are opposing US takeover of Gaza but then the Arabs didn't defend Palestine and they let it die while Hamas takes cover in the bodies of the Palestinians, while Iran is waging it's proxy war against Israel.
Heard about Trump's Gaza plan.
Not sure how they plan to make it work though and I am skeptic about it.
If it will truly work that will benefit the Palestinians I agree for it but if it will benefit the Israelis' settlements, I mean where is the justice in it?
Denying the Nakba is like denying the Holocaust.
There will be peace if there will be justice and that means equal benefits for the Israelis and the Palestinians and yes we need the state of Palestine.
Heard some stuffs about the leadership in Ukraine. As much as I want to fight when moral calls weigh in heavier, I am also hesitant when leadership is bullshit.
When I was in the army a long time ago I've noticed this about crappy leadership which actually results in crappy strategy and then it's the frontline guys that suffer from this while the leaders just sit in their safety of their HQ.
I think the bombshell is true as to the pride and stubbornness of the leadership as corroborated by other observations from different aspects of the Ukraine's campaign against the invading Russians.
I almost fought for them in 2022 when a female civilian friend of mine became combatant and got wounded in a grenade but she survived. I said I don't give a shit about politics or morals and I just want to save my friend from there but before I can even buy my plane ticket, she was sent home.
I really need to rethink my plans again but again there is no perfect thing in this world.
At one point, one of the prominent member of the class during the final exam whispered to me, he was asking me to help them by sharing my answers.
Such request will make me go against principles, agreements, and my personal brand which I had adhered to strictly. From breaking the academic honor code, to breaking Islam morals, to breaking my own principles, to breaking my agreements with the IEEE organization, and putting my employer in a potential bad light, and it damages my branding.
So no I didn't help anyone cheat. It ended where everyone in the class was hating me so much 🤣
