What brings you back after a year of hiatus?

@torresjrjr Just checking in to see if Mastodon & the Fediverse have made significant progress toward a more P2P system. I installed a WordPress plugin that turned my blog into a Fediverse node, but it only posts to a feed; it's not really interactive on my blog, which is what I wanted.

@torresjrjr "more P2P," i.e., making it much easier to participate fully but not via somebody else's server as on mastodon.social.

Mastodon, Pleroma et al are essentially already P2P if you consider single-user mode.

There are other solutions to interactive comments.
